Inductotherm Heating & Welding provide a comprehensive dieset rebuild programme for our customers. By implementing this programme it reduces the chance of unplanned costly down time when due to component failure.
How it works!
Our dieset rebuild kit, consisting of the standard wear items specifically for the customers dieset, is held in our inventory awaiting arrival of the dieset. The customers notifies our Spare Parts Manager that the dieset is in need of maintenance and is being returned to us (four weeks advanced notice is recommended) Upon notification, the dieset rebuild is scheduled into our dieset department.
Once the dieset arrives at Inductotherm Heating & Welding it is given to our dieset department for inspection and disassembly. Disassembly and inspection of each component is done at the same time as many clearances and tolerances are dependent upon a number of components.
Following the inspection, the dieset department provides an inspection report to the Spare Part Manager detailing any components, outside the “Standard Rebuild Kit” that need to be replaced or are required and a delivery date for the dieset rebuild. The delivery date is dependant on the lead time of the additional components required.
Once the dieset rebuild has been completed, the customer is contacted for the purpose of arranging return shipping. If requested components will be returned for your own evaluation.
